Guidance for Travel
For Travel in the US
Traveling can increase the risk of exposure to COVID-19 and also increase the risk of spreading the virus to others. Depending on your unique circumstances, you may choose to delay or cancel your plans. If you do decide to travel, be sure to take steps to help prevent getting and spreading COVID-19 and other respiratory diseases during travel. For the most up-to-date COVID-19 travel information, visit CDC COVID-19 Travel page.
For Travel Outside the US
The CDC issues travel advisories for countries based on the level of transmission occurring in that area. Please visit the CDCs Travel Recommendation page for more information.
Guidance for travelers returning from high risk countries can be found at the CDC After Travel page.
For Lodging Establishments
Lodging establishments can take the following steps to inhibit the spread of COVID-19:
- Implement stringent sanitation methods for surfaces and materials frequently contacted by staff & patrons. Additional information can be found on Missouri DHSS sanitation guidance document for lodging establishments.
- Follow best practices for employers and employees.
