- Welcomed home our soldiers and still, today provides a gathering place for veterans’ activities and meetings.
- Citizens and their families attended concerts, plays, sporting events, and community programs.
- Holds many memories for the community with its eclectic past.
- This 95-year-old building has fallen in disrepair.
- Recently earned the honorable listing on the National Register of Historic Places. (2021)
- After a feasibility study showed sound structure and community support of Memorial Hall’s renovation, City Council voted to hold a Bond Election for Joplin voters to be held on April 5, 2022.
