AN ORDINANCE approving the voluntary annexation by the Council of the City of Joplin,
Missouri, approximately 3.4 miles of Right of Way, located along 32nd Street between Central
City Road and Golf Link Road;  and along Coyote Drive between McClelland Boulevard and

AN ORDINANCE approving a Work Authorization with Allgeier Martin & Associates in the not to exceed amount of One Hundred Twenty-Five Thousand and 00/100 Dollars ($125,000.00) for Construction Inspection and Construction Management on the Schifferdecker Bridge Project funded through the Capital Improvement Sales Tax and containing an emergency clause.

AN ORDINANCE approving Amendment 2 to Work Authorization 7th and Illinois Area Stormwater Improvements (TSO606 and TSO607) with Allgeier, Martin and Associates Inc. in the not to exceed amount of Thirty Thousand and 00/100 Dollars ($30,000.00) for engineering services associated with the 7th and Illinois Storm Water Project funded through the Parks and Storm Water Sales Tax, and containing an emergency clause.

Vote to go into closed session, which shall pertain to the hiring, firing, disciplining, or promotion of an employee or particular employees of a governmental body involving personal information as set forth in Section 610.021(3) RS Mo, as amended, 2018, more specifically for the purpose of hiring certain Council employees. This meeting, record, and vote to be closed to the extent provided by law. The City Council shall adjourn at the end of the session.

Anyone wishing to address the Council should step to the podium and state his/her name and address. If the matter is not a Public Hearing, a request to speak to the Council should be prepared prior to the meeting. Speaking time will be limited to five (5) minutes.

Sound enhancement units are available for hearing impaired customers who provide a form of identification as security, which will be returned to the customer upon the return of the unit.

Those in need of disability-related auxiliary aids or services should contact the City Clerk's office at (417) 624-0820, ext. 220 no later than 48 hours prior to the meeting.
