An Ordinance authorization to accept a grant from the Department of Transportation, Federal Aviation Administration, (FAA) Airport Improvement Program (AIP) for the purchase of a new Class 4 ARFF Truck at the Joplin Regional Airport; and, amending the Annual Budget of the City of Joplin for the Fiscal Year 2017/2018 as adopted by Ordinance 2017-167 on October 16, 2017, and containing an emergency clause.

AN ORDINANCE authorizing the City of Joplin to execute Work Authorization #4 to the Master Services Agreement for Professional Administrative Consulting Services with PricewaterhouseCoopers Public Sector LLP (PwC) to provide implementation and administrative activities, not to exceed Two Million, Seven Hundred Fifty-Three Thousand, One Hundred Ten Dollars ($2,753,110) and authorizing the City Manager or his designee to execute said Agreement; and containing an emergency clause.

Vote to go into closed session, which shall pertain to leasing, purchasing or sale of real estate by a public governmental body where public knowledge of the transaction might adversely affect the legal consideration therefore as set forth in Section 610.021 (2) RSMo, as amended, 2017. This meeting, record, and vote to be closed to the extent provided by law. The City Council shall adjourn at the end of the session.

Anyone wishing to address the Council should step to the podium and state his/her name and address. If the matter is not a Public Hearing, a request to speak to the Council should be prepared prior to the meeting. Speaking time will be limited to five (5) minutes.

Sound enhancement units are available for hearing impaired customers who provide a form of identification as security, which will be returned to the customer upon the return of the unit.
