Persons wishing to address the City Council regarding an item on the agenda should complete a Request to Address Council and give it to the City Clerk prior to the start of the meeting. When your name is called, approach the podium, and state your name clearly for the record. If your request pertains to a Public Hearing item, you do not need to submit a request. You will have five (5) minutes to speak.

RESOLUTION NO. 2021-019

A RESOLUTION authorizing the signing of the Joplin HOME Consortium American Recovery Plan Federal Assistance Agreement with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development as required for HOME ARP implementation as outlined in CPD-21-10: Requirements for the Use of Funds in the HOME-ARP Program.; and authorizing the City Manager to sign said agreement for and on behalf of the City of Joplin.

COUNCIL BILL NO. 2021-457

AN ORDINANCE approving a Program Services Contract by and between the State of Missouri, Department of Health and Senior Services, and the City of Joplin, Missouri, for a term commencing October 1, 2021 and running through September 30, 2022, for the amount of up to Thirty Two Thousand, Five Hundred Eighty-Four Dollars and Seventy-Two Cents ($32,584.72), to enable the Health Department to provide maternal child health services to residents of Joplin, authorizing the City Manager to execute the same by and on behalf of the City of Joplin, Missouri; and containing an emergency clause.

AN ORDINANCE repealing Section 30-121, License Classifications and Fees, of Article III, Licenses, Division 2, Schedule of Fees, of Chapter 30, Businesses, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Joplin and enacting in lieu thereof a new Section 30-121, License Classifications and Fees, of Article III, Licenses, Division 2, Schedule of Fees, of Chapter 30, Businesses, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Joplin to implement certain classification changes; and setting a date when this Ordinance shall become effective.
